Food is very good. Service is good and friendly. It's not a large place so sometimes you have to wait or go elsewhere.

Good service. Good food. Friendly people. We always stop here when traveling through. This day was a rainy day and still smiles and good service. We did not take our umbrellas in because was not raining when we went in but was pouring as we left. One of the staff walked me and my husband one by one to our car with his umbrella. We definitely will be back. Food was delish.

1.50$ for 1 can of soda. My burger left a huge pool of some kind of liquid, tots were crispy but had no flavor.Won't go back.

We ate there on a Saturday around 11:30am. There are only about 15 tables and they were all full. We waited at least 30 minutes for our food. I ordered 1/2 a Club sandwich and a bowl of vegetable soup. It was very good, however I'm not sure it was what I ordered.... it was a full regular sandwich with lots of roast beef, thick ham, and some bacon, along with lettuce and tomato. The vegetable soup was very good, well seasoned. My husband had a breakfast order of eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, plus we shared a huge biscuit with gravy. I would possibly eat there again, but McAlester has quite a few good restaurants, so....

We love to eat there when we go thur mcalester.

The food is great! They have the best play melt in town. Fast, friendly service is a plus as well.

Old fashioned diner. Be patient and you'll be rewarded. Decent prices.

We have stopped here twice while driving to Branson from Dallas. It's a small place, and hard to notice on highway. But the food is really great, i had breakfast from here twice, tasty food and it's really cheap. Staff is very friendly.

We've stopped here a few times while driving from Dallas to Fayetteville. Small place, mostly truckers seem to stop here... But the food is amazing and cheap. Fried chicken is crispy and juicey. Breakfast all day. Big salad and yummy sandwiches. I don't think you can go wrong stopping here.

Great food like a truck stop got spot... Plenty of stuff on the walls and the menu never moves. Bring in a business card if you got one and don't forget to leave a tip. Good bit breakfast and great big lunches all tasty without breaking the bank

Food was good and service was decent. Would have preferred fountain drinks rather than canned soda. I also was not pleased to see staff touching our ice with her fingers to poor the excess water out of the cup.

Average food, excellent biscuits, good tea, fair prices, friendly service. Clean restroom. 3 1/2 stars. Breakfast ribeye was tough but tasty. Lemon is packaged concentrate.

I went to eat here for the first time last night and the waitress, I believe her name was Kayla, was very rude from the moment we walked in. She did not greet us or try to be kind. I got an entree and did not get my soup or okra one so when I asked her about it she told me that I was wrong. As I looked around and watched her interact with others, it seemed she was nice to some and then treated others the way she treated us. When I went up to the register to pay out she asked if we enjoyed our meal and I said no and she didn’t even ask why or apologize. I use to waitress and did it for a long time. I know that it can be tough but it comes down to your customer service and your attitude about it. I sure hope the restaurant views these so that they can get that girl some addition help with her overall attitude and skills.

The food is always great, an made to order so it's fresh. Prices are fair, an well worth it.

The diner was kinda small but the staff was very friendly and the food was really good.

It was a pretty decent place. All the food was hand prepared. I didn't find anything that tasted or looked like it came straight from a bag. It was a little small and dark. But otherwise pretty nice.
